Team GB - Moguls

Overview

For Team GB’s Winter Olympics coverage, we worked on a large-scale production focused on the moguls event—one of the most fast-paced and technically complex disciplines in freestyle skiing. Our role was to bring clarity and energy to the sport through a full suite of motion graphics across both long-form content and social cutdowns.

The Challenge

Moguls is an incredible spectacle, but for many viewers, it’s not immediately understood. The scoring, technique, and speed can be difficult to follow—especially for a broader audience tuning in during the Olympics.

The objective was to:

  • Simplify and explain the event in an engaging way

  • Enhance viewer understanding without slowing down the action

  • Deliver content that works across both broadcast-style and social formats

Our Approach

We developed a graphics system designed to complement the intensity of the sport while adding clarity where it matters most:

  • Full Motion Graphics Package: Creating all on-screen graphics to explain scoring, technique, and key moments

  • Platform-first Delivery: Adapting content for both long-form viewing and high-impact social cutdowns

  • Clarity Through Design: Using clean, intuitive visuals to break down complex information in real time

Every element was built to enhance—not interrupt—the viewing experience.

The Outcome

The final content brings a new level of accessibility to moguls, helping audiences better understand and appreciate the skill behind the sport.

  • Increased clarity and engagement around a complex Olympic event

  • A cohesive visual system across multiple formats

  • High-quality, platform-ready content aligned with Team GB’s standard

Closing Thought

Great sports content doesn’t just show the action—it helps people understand it. This project turns complexity into clarity, without losing the intensity of the moment.
